  • Describe your topic. State your research question. State your hypothesis.

    Methodology

  • Explain carefully, clearly, in detail and step by step how you tested your hypothesis: your materials, all variables, all controls. Another researcher should be able to repeat your experiment.

    Analysis of data

  • What did the data you collected show you about the results? Include a detailed summary with charts, graphs, and tables to show what happened regarding your hypothesis.

    Summary and Conclusion

  • Briefly write a summary of your data and explain how what you found out led you to accept (yes) or reject (no--null) your guess (hypothesis). Describe anything you would do differently next time.
