	top	The Project: Science     This project was to learn the scientific method--a way to do research. I chose to learn about how airplanes fly. I did research and set up an experiment. I collected data in the charts and analyzed them. I wrote an abstract to share what I learned. That is a simple explanation of the scientific method. Subject Learning I used to think planes flew by the engine, but now I know that Bernoulli's principle makes the plane go up. The biggest obstacle was finding out what really made plane go up. I had to do research to find out. Two things I learned are Bernoulli's principle and the four basic forces that govern the planes flight. Bernoulli's principle says that the air on top of the wing was going faster than the air on the bottom so that made an upward push on the plane's wings making it stay up longer. The four basic forces are gravity, lift, drag, and thrust. Next time, I would learn about the planes controls. Technology Learning What did you learn about technology? 	top	The Project: Writing    Subject Learning I used to hate writing, but now I realized that writing is very important to me because It is something I am good at, and one day it might make me a little cash. The biggest obstacle was finding out what to write about, so I made a web on different things to write about. Two things I learned are I learned how to make word webs and lists. Next time, I would take longer notes so I can create a better web . Technology Learning What did you learn about technology? I already know how to use a word processor. 	top	The Project :Social studies     I wanted to find out what effect the constitution has on us today. Subject Learning I used to not care about George Washington, but now I know he was very important because he led us to victory over the hessians. The biggest obstacle was undeerstanding what all the ammendments were. Two things I learned are about the ammendments, like the fifth amendment says that people are to have fair trials and that people have the right to have guns. 	top	The Project: reading    Subject Learning I used to hate reading, but now I learned that it helps people to communicate. The biggest obstacle was keeping myself motivated--I keep motivated by thinking about my grades. Two things I learned are reading helps, and it isnt just a bunch of words put together--it is people's way of thinking.
