Nespelem
School Grade 7/8 teacher This is my fourteenth year at Nespelem School, where I have taught first grade, sixth grade, and TAG (talented and gifted) students. Reading and Writing are integrated into the content areas as we focus on themes that best target the Washington State Essential Academic Learning Requirements. Technology is a tool for learning: a tool for the teacher to bring the world into the classroom to augment the curriculum; and a tool for the student to research, compose, gather and analyze data, and share the resulting understandings. Teaching and learning are reciprocal.
