What are your details to support each main idea?

- Introduction with interesting fact and thesis
statement?
- Body of paragraphs
- Each paragraph has a topic sentence and supporting
details
- All information supports thesis statement
- Conclusion
- Interesting fact and clincher statement

Keep a lab
sheet of your progress.
"write a thorough, yet concise and accurate position
paper for each question based on and linked to your research. Connect
your research to your science text book (is it accurate?)
"Thorough, yet concise and accurate" and "linked to your
research."
- Thorough, yet concise and accurate
- You must conduct a lot of research to analyze and
interpret accurately for your position statement and website.
To narrow all the research down to exact words is being
concise. Your choice of words will show you truly know and
understand your topic, and that you are not just pulling ideas
out of what you already think you know.
- linked to your research; connect to your science text book
(is it accurate?)
- Your words will show that you have conducted
research--you will write in your research, your position
statement, your annotated illustrations, what is new to others
and based on the truth.
- Connect your research to your science textbook. Use your
index and table of contents to review the research in your
science textbook. Is it
accurate? Keep a log of accuracy to make a final
recommendation.
