Rebecca Rock is an "erratic" basalt rock, a rock that was pulled along by a glacier ten thousand years ago. It dropped as the glacier melted. This type of rock is also known as a "haystack."
Some granite boulders may have been dragged from as far away as British Columbia or Montana.
