Uranus Subject Learning(science)
I used to think Uranus was a planet with nothing on it, but now I know it has rings, satellites and atmosphere.The biggest obstacle was finding the main ideas to write about Uranus and the important facts to make a report about Uranus.
Two things I learned is that Uranus has rings inside of the satellites and the other was that Uranus has moons.
Next time, I would find more information about Uranus and find more about information about the other planets.
My Uranus Report
Subject Learning (social studies)I used to think that the redwood forest trees were just a little bit bigger than regular trees, but now I know that the redwood trees are more than two hundred feet or taller.The biggest obstacle was finding the information for my report .
Two things I learned are that redwood trees are related to seqouia trees and that the Redwood Forest trees are the tallest.
Next time, I would get interesting ideas for my report and I could find more inportant fact about the Redwood Forest.
Hero of the Hood Subject Learning (reading)
I used to think that people who were addicted to drugs would just sell their belongings like their vcrs and tv's, but now I know that would sell their baby's diapers.The biggest obstacle was thinking how he made it to this day taking care of seven kids by himself and dealing with his mom doing drugs .
Two things I learned is that you can't always depend on your parents but you can depend on yourself. The other thing that I have learned is that advice is the best thing anyone can give you and who it makes you today.
Cyclone and White Girl Subject Learning ( writing)
I used to think that you can trust the people you know, but now I know you can't trust the people you want to.The biggest obstacle was thinking how a person can shoot a person who they really care about.
Two things I learned is that it is really hard to do things that you said you were going to do and there is always a reason for the person you are today.
To write this I had to imagine things that were different and come up with something that was interesting something that someone that would want to read and see what is happening. By chosing my words and thoughts I come up Cyclone and White Girl with the real story names Angelia and Crystal but I didn't put their names in the story because Cyclone and White Girl is more interesting. To make this aproperate for school I had to leave things out like the curse words and everthing that wasn't appropriate.
