Hi, my name is Cody Marchand , I'm 14 and in 8th grade. I have two sisters (one of them live with my dad and the other lives with her mom), and one brother I'm the oldest out of all of them.
I go to Nespelem School on the Colville reservation (which is located in Washington State).
I live in Nespelem with my grandma, brother, and cousin. I've lived in Nespelem all my life. I've been living with my grandma since I was 5, and my brother who is 11 only been living with her for a couple of years.
I like sports; like basketball, baseball, wrestling, and my favorite sport is swimming. My favorite place to go swimming is at Gold Lake, which gets a lot of people most of the time but not all the time.
My hobbies are reading, playing on the computer, just having fun with my friends and cousins, or just listen to music.
My favorite place to visit is my auntie's house in Welpinit, Washington. Sometimes will go swimming (if it is a nice hot summer day), or will go visit some of my other relatives. But when my auntie goes to work my brother and me just sit home and watch TV or just play games.
My favorite food Indian Tacos, with the frybread, chilly, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, hots sauce, and sour cream. The frybread is just right if you knee the dough just right. Out of all of my auntie's and my mom, my mom's would have to be the best. She knows how to get the dough just how my cousins and I like it.
My favorite subject in school is Computers because you can work on your typing, your essays, and you can work on the Internet for reports. Well on the computer I work on my typing in a program called Mavis Beacon, and work on another program called Microsoft Words to so my reports on a subject (mostly in writing).
My least favorite subject in school would have be Lifestyles because we talk about mostly is your feelings; then is right after Study Hall which is at 8:30 in the morning so practically everyone is sleepy. It gets boring just sitting there and listing to other people read until it's my turn.
